Verisurf is a CMM-Inspection software that runs inside of Mastercam and CATIA.
Because it runs in a CAD/CAM program, it allows for on-the-fly creation of geometry and has all the interfaces such as
STEP, CATIA AIMS, direct MCAD (Solidworks, Solid Edge, Inventor, UG, Pro/E)
and more. Compatible with portable CMM arms such as Romer, fixed CMMS and laser projectors.
Verisurf interfaces with CATIA and Unigraphics and is able to import their GD&T information (FTA):
- Product descriptions
- Measure features and create them, make an inspection program and generate a report
- Build is a real time gage where you see the deviation between the probed surface and the CAD model
- Analysis does a complete statistical analysis of measured points with deviations etc
- Reverse engineer parts with simple or complex surfaces
